Stamping With Woodsy Stack Stamps

This week the Stampendous Design Team is sharing projects made using Woodsy Stack and Winter Stack Perfectly Clear Stamp Sets.  For my project I used the Woodsy Stack set.  Be sure to head over to the Stampendous Blog to see what the other Designers have for you today.  Here is how my card was made.

1.  Stamp trees on a diecut circle with Onyx Black ink, heat set and apply masking fluid.
2.  Once the masking fluid is dry, sponge green ink for the grass and blue ink for the sky.
3.  Remove the masking fluid by rubbing it off with your finger and color trees with a brown Zig pen.
4.  Stamp bunny on Bristol Smooth paper (Zig Clean Color pens blend beautifully on this) with black ink, heat set and color with Zig pens. Cut out and set aside.
5.  Ink Wood Background with Antique Linen first then ink on top of that with Tea Dye ink, this will give a variation of color.
6.  Glue stamped circle onto the left side of the panel with Zip Dry, cut off the over hang and layer onto blue paper and glue onto a kraft color card.
7.  Stamp sentiment on a blue strip with black ink and outline with a white gel pen.
8.  Pop bunny up on the trees with foam squares and glue the sentiment below him.
9.  Glue green and blue sequins onto card using Glossy Accents.

Gingerbread Treat Bag

Look at this new Gingerbread Baker Stamp and Die Set that Stampendous has, just in time for holiday treat giving.  Today I used it to decorate a Whisker Graphics polka dot bag filled with homemade treats.

1.  Using the Gingerbread Baker Stamp and Die Set, die cut the gingerbread man from kraft colored paper.  Stamp face and buttons with black ink and sponge edges with Walnut Stain ink. Apply Red Dot Sparklers to the cheeks and top button.
2.  Die cut hat, apron and bowl (I just used the heart) from white cardstock.  Also die cut bowtie and bowl (again) from red cardstock.
3.  Glue diecut pieces onto the gingerbread man and glue him onto a Whisker Graphics bag.
4.  Stamp sentiment on white cardstock, cut into a tag shape and stamp checkers on the top and bottom with Satin Red VersaFine Ink. Layer onto a larger kraft color tag, punch a hole and place a kraft circle reinforcer from Paper Studio over the hole.
5.  Wrap the folded bag with red and white twine and tie on the tag. Glue on the red heart left over from the bowl die cut piece and your done!

Stampendous and Perfect Airbrush Blog Hop

stm_ppc_banner2

Today is the last day of the Stampendous and Perfect Paper Crafting, Blog Hop and the Design Team has really made some wonderful projects!  My final card is this Christmas card using stamps and stencil from the July Stampendous Catalog.

Here is how it was made;
1.  Snowmans Tree was stamped on white cardstock and colored with Zig Clean Color pens and cut out.
2.  Glue from a Zig 2 Way glue pen was used over the snow then sprinkled with a Spoonful Of Snow and heat embossed from underneath to insure it wouldn't blow off. Set aside.
3.  Snowflake Cascade Metal Stencil was placed over a white panel and sponged with blue ink.
4.  The Perfect Airbrush Projects Tool was used to spritz blue and green ink from Chameleon pens.  The edges were sponged with blue ink. Set aside.
5.  Stamp International Snow on white cardstock with blue ink.  The Perfect Craft Ruler was used to cut the top and bottom of the image to size.  The piece was glued to the snowflake panel and the over hang was cut off.
6.  Scor-Tape was placed above and below this, sprinkled with Lime Micro Glitter and glued to a white card.
6.  Cutting off the over hang just happened to leave me with the word "snow," so I glued it to a larger piece of white paper, placed Scor-Tape to the right and left edges, sprinkled Lime Micro Glitter over the tape then cut off all remaining white cardstock.  The piece was then layered onto black and popped up on the card.

Playing With Perfect Airbrush Products

Welcome to the Stampendous and Perfect Paper Crafting Blog Hop!
For my card today, I dry embossed the Dove Stencil on tan paper and used The Perfect Airbrush to spray on several colors of brown ink with Chameleon pens.  The Elegant Scroll was stamped randomly several times with brown ink and the same ink was used to lightly sponge around the dove.
Shabby White Embossing Enamel and Spoonful Of Gold Dust were sprinkled around the Dove and heated from underneath so it wouldn't blow off. The Dove was outlined with a white gel pen.
The Mini Perfect Layers tool was used to layer the image on red paper.  Ribbon and cord were added and a charm was glued on.  A red Dot Sparkler was added to the Dove's eye.

A Country Christmas

This week the Stampendous Design Team is sharing projects made with the Truck Tidings Stamps and Die Set.  As I started using it, I realized that this set can be used for so much more than just Christmas.  If you use the truck and presents, it can be a birthday card. Or if you use just the truck, it can be used for just about anything and would make a wonderful guy card.  But with Christmas just around the corner, I decided to make a Christmas card to share today.  Here is how my card was made;

1.  Stamp truck, tree and presents from the Truck Tidings Stamps and Die Set from Stampendous, with VersaFine Onyx Ink on Bristol Smooth paper and heat set.  Color with Zig Clean Color pens using a water and a brush to blend.
2.  Cut out using matching dies from the set and set aside.
3.  Place Snowflakes Stencil on 3 3/4" x 5" Mixed Media White Paper and tape it to the back of the stencil with removable tape.  Sponge stencil with blue ink.
4.  Remove paper from stencil and sponge edges with blue ink.
5.  Place die cut pieces on panel for placement but don't glue down yet.  Stamp sentiment in the corner and remove die cut pieces.
6.  Sprinkle panel with Spoonful of Snow and heat from the bottom so it doesn't blow off.
7.  Layer onto Coredinations Color Core Asparagus, distress the edges and mount to a blue card.
8.  Glue truck, gifts and tree to card.
9.  Die cut a frame from Asparagus paper using Fitted Frames A Set and glue it over the sentiment.

Welcome Baby

Baby cards are so cute and fun to make and I love the colors.  This card uses the Animal Mobile Perfect Clear Set from Stampendous. The animals were colored with watercolor pencils and layered on punched out circles. "BABY" was colored with Prisma pencils and the hearts were stamped on colored paper and cut out.  Everything is glued together with Zip Dry Glue.

I'll be sharing an other baby card soon using this same set with a completely different look!  Thanks for stoppying by.

Bouquet For Your Birthday

This card was a Stamp Club project I came up with for my ladies and they loved it!  We used the Bouquet For You Perfectly Clear Set from Stampendous.

It was colored with pencils and the vase was embossed with clear embossing powder to give it a realistic look of a vase. Before the flowers were popped up, brown ink was sponged over the vase. To add a little interest, two of the corners were rounded and it really does make quite a difference.

To my US friends, have a fun Labor Day weekend!
